
Amanda Kelly
Amanda Kelly, Staff Teacher and Choreographer, was born and raised in Rochester Hills and was a prior graduate from of our Adagio Studio and Competition team.
Amanda began dancing at 2 years old and was in competitive dance by 5. She has education and training in numerous dance forms, of which include but are not limited to: Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Heels/Ballroom, Gymnastics, and Tap.
While in Detroit, Amanda danced with well-known artists such as Goo Goo Dolls, Kid Rock, Jesse McCartney, and FloRida in NBA and NFL half-time performances.
Amanda has also audition and starred on Abby Lee’s Ultimate Dance Competition at the age of 12.
Amanda Graduated from Chapman University in Orange County, CA with a BFA in Dance and a Minor in Leadership Studies. While in attendance at Chapman, she performed and choreographed numerous dance programs each year while also serving as President of the Chapman University Dance Team, leading a team of 19 dancers.
She later moved to Los Angeles working as a dance teacher for A Time for Dance Studio, as well as working at a Pure Barre Studio, along with dancing in ACE Awards in LA and many other dance festivals.
Amanda is now back in Michigan and has joined Adagio Dance to continue her love for Adagio and the dancers. She currently teaches Ballet, Lyrical, Combo, and Technique classes to our company and recreation members, as well as working alongside Sloan in teaching our recreational dance program.
