Kristina Boroja, Director of Adagio Dance, began her dance career at the age of 2 at a local dance studio in Michigan. By age 6, she began training competitively and quickly developed her love for dance.

While dancing competitively, Kristina was honored with summer dance program scholarships to travel across the country and train with renowned known dance companies such as; Tremaine, Dupree, 3rd street dance academy, and many more.

She later began teaching at an award-winning dance studio in Michigan, where her competitive companies received many high score honors. Kristina has received numerous choreography awards for her dance routines from various competition organizations.

After graduation, she was accepted to perform on Holland American Cruise lines for the Western European tour. Having such a passion for dance and learning, Kristina proceeded to dance at the Gus Giordano School of Dance in Chicago., Illinois on scholarship. She later choreographed for local dance teams such as Eisenhower HS, Stoney Creek HS, Dakota HS, and Michigan State University dance team. All teams placed in the top 10 throughout their season.

Kristina has been teaching for over 15 years, her love and dedication for the art will eventually transpire into what would make her truly happy… teaching and training students to become the best they can be in dance and life. She decided to open her own dance studio in Rochester Hills Mi in 2008, to inspire, educate, and instill the extraordinary possibilities of dance.  IT was at this time that  Adagio Dance Company was born.

As the Studio director of Adagio Dance, Kristina’s team was recognized as the highest scoring advanced level dance studio in 2011 from “Hall of Fame Dance Challenge” at Walled Lake regional competition and has accumulated the highest amount of “FDC” points during a regional competition and has trained title-winning soloists that have received numerous “Judges Choice” & “Choreography” awards. Our competition team has been undefeated NATIONAL CHAMPIONS for the last 4 years. Kristina is extremely passionate as a teacher, mother, role-model, & business owner. She will continue to dedicate her time, share her love, & educate dancers.
